About Us
The Netherlands American Community Trust is an initiative of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the United States to create and participate in community outreach programs by seeking opportunities to contribute funds, expertise and time to worthwhile causes designed to improve the community in which the Netherlands-American business community operates.
Our programs seek to improve the quality of life and to encourage every member of our society to become productive citizens. The initiative was made possible in 1998 with the support of Akzo Nobel/Organon, ING, Rabobank International, Océ and Randstad North America, and in 1999 the Trust was incorporated as a not-for-profit, charitable institution (501-C3), under the laws of the District of Columbia.
